We at The Boat Shop would like to extend our sincere thanks to our many patrons and introduce ourselves to other boaters we have not yet had the privilege of serving.
Our Business had its roots established in 1958 when the Bonisese Family from Bangor, PA decided to open “The Quality Marine on Lake Wallenpaupack.” Opening in 1960 as “Wallenpaupack Marina”, the marina prospered. Roy Sr. joined the staff in 1962 and never looked back helping us grow into the business we are today. Things have certainly changed – we don’t caulk and swell wooden hulls much anymore, our name changed, but our philosophy of customer satisfaction, quality service, and unstinting attention to detail remains unaltered.
It has been a Finney Family affair ever since the ’60s. I purchased the business in 2012 and strive to provide Lake Wallenpaupack with marina services that are both professional and congenial.
THE BOAT SHOP offers the finest products and services available. Our staff consists of experts in all areas of recreational boating. We manufacture custom boat covers, do hull and bottom repairs, are the only personal watercraft dealer on Lake Wallenpaupack, and are a factory-authorized part and service facility for almost all engine and drive systems, including Evinrude, Indmar, Malibu, PCM, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, and Yamaha.
We are an authorized dealer for Barletta luxury pontoon boats, Cobalt luxury performance boats, Four Winns runabouts, cruisers, and deck boats, Malibu and Axis towboats, Manitou performance pontoon boats, and Yamaha Waverunners.
In addition to our sales and service, we specialize in the following accessories:
Boatmate Trailers
Connelly Skis and Wake Boards
Load Rite Trailers
Phase 5 Wakesurfers
Radar Skis
Ronix Wakeboards
Phoenix Trailers
Venture Trailers
We also specialize in late model and new Rental Boats. We love boats and boating! When we are not working, you are likely to find us sailing, cruising, fishing, skiing, and wake surfing. We look forward to meeting you and making you part of The Boat Shop Family!
Sincerely,
Roy Finney Jr.
